DAME JESSICA ENNIS-HILL

Working with Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill on her Personal Branding session was a real honour. We both come from Sheffield and attended the same school, although we were years apart. The shoot’s success came from a great team—makeup artist, hairdressers, stylist, and me as her photographer. Like any Personal Branding session, it was a great chance to show my photography and enjoy teamwork.

GROW MENTAL HEALTH

Wiebke, CEO of Grow Mental Health, started building her brand with a photo session. The goal was to create natural, professional photos for her website, social media, and conferences. Though nervous at first, she relaxed and enjoyed seeing the photos on my tablet during the shoot. The session took place in a bright studio in December, and a few days later, she received her beautiful images.

TRAKKER

Working with the creative team at Trakker was a transformative experience. For five years, I photographed their catalogue, exhibition panels, and advertising campaigns, both in the studio and on location. My work played a significant role in reshaping and enhancing their brand profile during this time.

My favourite part was shooting the details, creating high-impact images that focused on brand use, mainly on covers and section intros.

STING

Sting Sport, an Australian brand with a unique focus on boxing products, proudly serves as the primary sponsor for the English Institute of Sport Sheffield GB Boxing Division. My personal history in boxing and Sheffield's influence made our collaboration a natural fit.

Our partnership, which began in 2019, has been marked by a strong working relationship. I recently worked on a project that showcased the incredible potential of female boxers. Perhaps you are witnessing the rise of the next world champions.

Easy Moshi was founded to embrace the vibrant community of Chinese students studying in Sheffield, who are deeply passionate about branded fashion and lifestyle products.

Working with Paul and the creative team at Easy Moshi was always a truly rewarding experience. They empowered me with complete creative freedom during the shoots, and I am immensely grateful for their unwavering trust in me and my team—truly a dream client!

PEOPLE

Capturing the essence of people through photography is just the best. The joy of meeting and connecting with individuals, helping them relax, and revealing their true personalities is truly rewarding and a skill, and it brings me immense job satisfaction, evident in these images.

KOMATSU

Komatsu commissioned me to take photos of their head office team in the South East of England. The shots, designed to showcase the different departments and the diversity of their workforce, were intended for their annual reports, underscoring the importance and impact of their teams.

The approach was editorial with a hint of formality, reflecting the personalities, professionalism, and quality of the work.

TRIBEPAD

Taking photos of your team doesn’t have to be dull or stiff. Tribepad, a recruitment company in Sheffield, sought photos that showcased their team’s genuine personalities. I had only 10 minutes per person, keeping it quick so work wasn’t interrupted. My simple setup in the boardroom utilised a white background and a single light, making the process smooth and unobtrusive. The final photos, shown in split tones, captured each person’s unique character, proving we can highlight the best in everyone. A successful shoot!

To create effective PR photos, I aim to strike a balance between energy and clear storytelling. I don’t just take pictures—I capture the moment’s true meaning. Though it’s not always easy, this principle guides my work. This helps produce valuable images that improve editorial use and increase your story’s exposure

BUXTON WATER

Buxton Water proudly sponsored the exciting Eroica Britannia cycling event in Buxton, Derbyshire, UK. My team spent three busy days capturing the action from sunrise to sunset. My assistant and I were there the whole time, taking key shots. We shared stunning photos every hour with their social media team, who picked the best for their audience. Despite temperatures reaching 28 degrees, we kept going, fuelled by plenty of water. It was tough but worth it for the amazing photos. Afterwards, I rested for 24 hours to recover.

My approach to interior and exterior photography is similar to a product shoot, focusing on a compelling brief and meticulous attention to detail. These elements are essential for delivering exceptional work. I infuse life into my images by embracing movement and exploring diverse angles.

To truly capture the essence of a project, I believe in the beauty of documenting it from dawn to dusk, harnessing the power of natural light to illuminate every aspect, both inside and out.

BROADSTOCK

Broadstock was a company specialising in office furniture manufacturing based in Macclesfield. I had the privilege of working with them for 10 years on various projects across the UK. They recently got taken over.

To express my gratitude for their unwavering commitment and collaboration during this time, I created a retrospective book of 200 images showcasing my favourite work for them, utilising black and white.
